Our Satin White Polyester label makes colors appear extremely vibrant. This smooth 3M material is water solvent and scuff resistant for indoor and short-term outdoor applications. The general purpose clear acrylic adhesive adheres excellently to many surfaces. Resistance to water and abrasion is based on the technique used by the customer. We can cut to any size or shape.

Product Information

Description:

This White Polyester label features a shiny surface coating to provide superior toner anchorage in computer generated imaging systems. The medium-tack permanent acrylic emulsion offers short-term repositionability from many surfaces. The clay coated, stabilized white kraft liner has good lay-flat characteristics.

Facestock

  • Polyester top-coated for excellent toner anchorage
  • Caliper: 1.8 mils
  • Good resistance to common cleaning solutions, alcohol, ammonia, water and humidity

  • White tri-bonded acrylic permanent
  • Caliper: 0.7 mils

Note: For best bonding conditions, application surface should be at room temperature or higher. Low temperature surfaces, below 40°F can cause the adhesive to become so firm that it will not develop maximum contact with the substrate. Higher initial bonds can be achieved through increased rubdown pressure. In order to get a true measure of the adhesive's effectiveness, the label should be applied and allowed to bond a minimum of 24 hours prior to evaluation.

Liner:

  • Clay coated kraft (lay-flat) liner that has been silicone coated one side to give a controlled release.
