Rippedsheets.com offers a high gloss protective spray with up to 99% UV
light protection for inkjet inks for exclusively 101102 Inkjet Printable Aluminum Self Adhesive. 100410 Clear Protective UV
Spray is a solvent borne vinyl elastomer clear coat. This is a fast dry,
very elastic coating that will not turn yellow, oxidize, check, crack or
peel. This product is manufactured to optically block 93% UV light at 0.3
mil dry film thickness (DFT), and 99% at 1 mil DFT. At room temperature,
100410 dries in 2.5 minutes at 0.3 mil dry film thickness (DFT), and about
10 minutes at 1 mil DFT.
100410 may double the outdoor life of 101102 Inkjet Printable Aluminum Self
Adhesive, which time varies depending on amount and intensity of sun, rain,
etc.
For a thicker coating, apply the 100410 protective spray from a 45 degree
angle over the label sheet after printing, let dry, turn sheet 90 degrees
and re-apply protective spray.

Safety: Rippedsheets.com recommends using 100400 in an open area where the
spray drifts way from the user. If this product is used indoors or outdoors, it must be well ventalated to prevent dangerous build-up of vapors. The user should wear a Half Facepiece Respirator with replaceable cartridges and filters. The Half Facepiece Respirator with replaceable cartridges and filters can be purchased at a hardware or paint store for $40.00 or more. Ask your hardware or paint expert which chemical cartridges and filters you should use. You must be able to exchange air through your Half Facepiece Respirator to breathe. If you can smell 100400 through your respirator, the respirator is not working properly.
