Rippedsheets.com 102700 is a premium high gloss, resin-coated label paper that is specially coated to work with off-brand/bulk inkjet inks as well as manufacturers' brand inks. Its smooth coating accommodates high resolution printing and offers a true photo quality product that rivals offset printing. Archival safe and acid free.

Off-brand/bulk inks are formulated differently than the inks that come with your printer. They print well on matte white paper, but they may not be absorbed well by gloss paper, vinyl, polyester or foil labels. This material has been tested with several off-brand inks and has been shown to print successfully. However it has not been tested with ALL the inks on the market, so it is best to test the material with your ink.

The resin coating resists smudging but is not truly waterproof. 100400 Clear Protective Spray coating is available to make the labels smudge, moisture and scuff resistant. If you want true waterproof inkjet labels (can be used underwater - honest), use our waterproof polyester 104150 or vinyl label materials: 104000, 104050, 104050-20.
