Tag and Fabric Tag Plus Charges

The smaller the tags on a sheet, the more tags per sheet, and the longer it takes our Short Run equipment to produce each sheet. For example, if 30 tags per sheet are ordered on 100 sheets, then that is 3000 tags. If 500 tags per sheet are ordered on 100 sheets, then that is 50,000 tags. Thus we charge more for more than 30 tags per sheet.

Short Run per-sheet prices rise as the tags get smaller and the number of labels per sheet increases. Also, if holes or cut-outs are added, they

are counted as additional tags. Please see additional charges for special perforations below.

Standard Perforations

Rippedsheets.com Standard Perforation is a 0.30" butt and a 0.02" tie (3 TPI). The tie is always at the edges. In some special shapes, Rippedsheets.com uses custom designed 0.01" niks to keep the die-cut shape locked in the sheet.

If you want a higher count perforation such as 30 perforations per inch, the short run plus charge increases as the time to process increases. The following charges are IN ADDITION to Label Plus Charges (if applicable):

Professional Folding Scores and Custom Slitting & Cutting

Rippedsheets.com is able to create a Professional Folding score that has the proper crease depth for tag materials. Rippedsheets.com can create up to ten (10) creases per document with a plus or minus 0.01181″ accuracy. Creases can be made in either vertical or horizontal directions on an 8.5″ × 11″ sheet. Diagonal scores can be done but at an additional cost and only on finished, printed pieces. For 8.5″ × 14″, 11″ × 17″ and 12″ × 18″ sheet sizes, creases can only be made in the short direction. For Rippedsheets.com Presentation Folder Mailers and Photo Folders, the standard folder size is 11″ × 17.5″ flat (11″ × 8.75″ folded) and the maximum size is 12″ × 18″ flat (12″ × 9″ folded). Rippedsheets.com is able to do custom slitting and cutting. Slitting is usually in the long direction of the sheet, whereas cutting is usually in the short direction. However, for an 8.5″ × 11″ sheet, Rippedsheets.com can treat the long direction as the short direction and vice versa.

Rippedsheets.com can do up to six (6) slits in either vertical or horizontal direction on an 8.5″ × 11″ sheet. For 8.5″ × 14″, 11″ × 17″ and 12″ × 18″, six (6) slits can only be made in the long direction.

For 8.5″ × 14″, 11″ × 17″ and 12″ × 18″, there can be up to fifteen (15) cuts per sheet in the short direction only.

Materials and Size Limitations

Materials that can be processed are all paper tag, paper clean-cut materials and 100703, and the following label materials: 101700, 101200, 104200, 101200 and 102580.

Clear 102500, 102570, and 102590 cannot be processed. Also the minimum size single sheet must be at least 1.875″ × 3.346″. Our minimum outside margin is 0.126″. The minimum gap that can be removed between singles is 0.197″.

Add liner perforations to short run kisscut labels

Rippedsheets.com can cut additional perforations to kisscut labels, allowing for the labels to be seperated, with the liner, from the sheet after printing. This enhancement has an additional charge and is not available on all materials or diecuts offered.  Please Contact Us for more information.
