#102260 - UL Matte Permanent Polyester Label
This 2.0 mil gray polyester with an acrylic permanent self adhesive is a UL Recognized Component under the Category of Marking and Labeling Systems printing materials. The Facestock is Matte top coated gray and resists degradation from scuffing, chemicals, and wide temperature fluctuations. The self adhesive bonds to high and low energy plastic surfaces and slightly oily metals. The adhesive is a clear acrylic, has excellent resistance to chemicals even at high temperatures, and is adaptable to many surfaces with a minimum application temperature of 50°F and a service range -40°F to 302°F. Prints well with color or black and white laser printers.

This is a matte top-coated computer printable gray polyester film coated with a permanent pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive and backed with a backside-printable two-sided poly coated tissue backed easy-release liner. This product is UL approved printing materials - Component when used with certain printer/toner combinations. It is recognized for indoor/outdoor use with occasional exposure to lubricating oil and water.

Note: For best bonding conditions, application surface should be at room temper-ature or higher. Low temperature surfaces, below 50°F can cause the adhesive to become so firm that it will not develop maximum contact with the substrate. Higher initial bonds can be achieved through increased rubdown pressure. In order to get a true measure of the adhesive's effectiveness, the label should be applied and allowed to bond a minimum of 24 hours prior to evaluation.
